The Gini Yaka (Fire Demon) is a powerful figure in Sri Lankan yakun natima (devil dance) traditions. Rooted in ancient beliefs, this mask is used in ritual performances to ward off evil spirits and illnesses. The name “Gini” means fire, symbolizing destruction, chaos, and purification. This demon is often depicted with sharp teeth, wide eyes, and a fierce expression-representing the raw energy of fire itself.
Our design is a modern take on this legendary mask, blending streetwear with heritage. Every piece we drop carries a story, a meaning, a connection to something bigger than just fashion. Aiyo Society is more than a brand-it’s a movement, a culture, a society.
